“My two cats and I (the elder is 15 years old) have lived in several cities, even living aboard a private boat and cruising as far north as Canada and as far south as the Florida Keys – so we have had experiences with several veterinarians. We have been seeing Dr. Laurel since 2014 and she absolutely is the Best! Her compassion, empathy, experience, and training combine to give her a unique bond to know and treat the animals who come to see her. The emphasis definitely is on wellness and my kitties are the healthiest and most contented they ever have been. Part of this is because Dr. Laurel has acupuncture, Pranic Healing, cold laser treatments, and other modalities to complement standard veterinary practices (and I feel certain she will continue to study and add to her “toolbox”). Add to that her ability to communicate with the animals, and it is an amazing gift of health in body, mind, and spirit. Further proof, the elder cat tolerates visits to Sunvet well – as soon as she’s explored the room, she jumps up onto Dr. Laurel’s chair and waits for her treatment.
