Kylie spent 12 years working in human medicine until she joined us at Sunvet to pursue her true passion, working with animals. In some way or another, Kylie’s life has always revolved around animals. For many years, she and her mother ran a non-profit wildlife rescue in Brevard, NC where they rehabilitated indigenous wildlife, including orphaned babies and injured adults. They also held presentations at local schools to help teach the importance of conservation.
Away from work, Kylie enjoys hiking, kayaking, creating art, and experiencing nature. She shares her home with her husband of 10 years; her two sons, Spencer (16) & Jackson (9); and their beloved fur baby, Pugsy Malone, the five-year-old pug.

Newfoundland dogs are known for their intelligence, strength, calm dispositions, and loyalty.They exhibit compassion and a love that is unmatched by any. Much like the Newfoundland, I am loyal to a fault, keep calm under pressure and love unconditionally.
