Julie is our full-time receptionist and THE person you want on your team for theatre or pop-culture trivia night. She joined the Sunvet crew in June 2018 and, surprisingly, has only added two new four-leggeds to her family since then.

We wanted to get to know Julie a little better, so we decided to ask her a few fun questions…

What is your motto or personal mantra?

Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none. (Shakespeare, All’s Well The Ends Well)

When was the last time you laughed so hard that you cried?

Not sure but I am positive it had to be cat or dog related.

Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Camel while in Morocco.

What is the sweetest animal relationship moment you’ve ever witnessed?

During the pandemic, I was home with my 3 cats and my dog a lot more. It’s been a rough year and they have always known what to do. They look at me straight in my eyes and I know they love me unconditionally. Best feeling ever.

Favorite Showtune?

A most cruel and unfair question to ask a theatre nerd. So many beloved songs. My favorite musicals are Hamilton, Les Mis, Wicked, Dreamgirls – heck, I love almost all musicals!

What are your 3 most overused words or phrases?

“I’m tired” “*#$@&!!!” and “I don’t feel like cooking tonight.”

Describe your dream vacation

England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales with unlimited time and an unlimited budget.

Best line from a film?

“We all go a little mad sometimes.” – Psycho. Runner up “Listen! Do you smell something?” – Ghostbusters.

Which one do you want to see the most: Flying cars, robot housekeepers, or moon cities? Why?

Robot housekeepers as long as they don’t go all Skynet. Why? Because I really HATE cleaning.

What things do you love most about working at Sunvet?

The animals, the clients, the staff.
