Keri was born and raised on a small farm in Northern Jersey where she would spend early mornings before school feeding the animals and late nights in the barn with a horse who was in labor. She wasn’t allowed to have a pet inside the house, so she spent every moment outside with the farm animals, whether it was playing them guitar, building obstacle courses for the goats, or bottle feeding any animals in need. She moved to Florida at the age of 18 and started working for a wildlife rehabilitation center where she discovered her love for birds of prey and the veterinary medicine world. Keri is extremely passionate about animal welfare and spent many years working in cruelty investigations trying to help as many animals as she could.
When she is not at work, you can usually find her hiking in the mountains with her rescue pup, Nergal, playing tennis, or with some friends learning a new board game.

Meet My Alter-Ego
Like sea otters, I can be extremely playful, outgoing and adventurous. I enjoy learning about other countries and their cultures, like otters who are known to get along with many animals outside of their species. I enjoy soaking up the sun during the day time and being active during the evenings.
