Kelly’s family moved all over the US, from NY to CA and from WA state to FL and many places in between. She loved running in the forests, deserts, and streams in all these places learning about all the creatures living there. Kelly’s true passion is wild things in wild places. She rescued wildlife as a child and still does today, from rabbits, birds, lizards, cats and dogs.
Following her passion for wild things in wild places, she received a BS in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University and worked for US Fish and Game right out of college studying bald eagles. She home-schooled her 3 adorable children and has found herself lucky enough to move to beautiful Asheville NC this past year.
Outside of work Kelly spends time hiking and trying to learn about the flora and fauna of Asheville and painting all the wild things she finds, reading, and writing. She lives with her precious kitty, Willow.

Meet My Alter-Ego
Horses symbolize strength, speed, freedom, determination, and travel. They have had an important role in mythology, folklore, and the advancement of the human race as a whole. Like the horse, I value my freedom and adore traveling to other countries and cultures. I move quickly and with determination towards whatever life offers and encourage others to find their own strength and freedom.
