
Julie has called these mountains home since the age of four. She and her progeny, Sarah and Owen, share their hearts and home with their adorable Basenji mix, Pippin; a HUGE tuxedo cat, Collins; polydactyl (Hemingway cat) mischief maker, Merlin, and snuggle bug kitty, Athena..
Julie is passionate about the theatre and LGBTQ issues. She gives as much time as possible to the Montford Park Players onstage and off and to Youth OUTright as a Board Member and volunteer. She is a total nerd who is still looking for her Han Solo. Julie is a musical theatre and Shakespeare enthusiast. Other interests include travel, history, words, art, music, anthropology, and the paranormal.

Meet My Alter-Ego
Like the ever surprising cat, I am a duality of dignity and supreme silliness, often at the same time. It may take a while to gain my trust and affection, but once someone has, I give it wholeheartedly. I am exceedingly curious and unusually resilient. I love to play but I know the value of a good nap. While not as graceful as a cat, I almost always land on my feet in every situation.
