Brandy is a transplant from Athens, Georgia, and has been in Asheville for three and a half years. Growing up, she always loved to be outdoors and to explore, and that sense of adventure has stayed with her as an adult. Brandy loves to play outside, hike, kayak, cook, read, act in theatre, and travel. She is also an avid artist, using recycled materials to create paintings, prints, homemade cards, and jewelry.
Brandy is passionate about advocating for and helping others, especially those who can’t always speak up for themselves. In college, she majored in Psychology and Counseling, and for the past six years, she taught early childhood education. Brandy has always loved animals and has had many of her own in her lifetime, so she is excited to be at Sunvet, where she can work closely with people and animals during this new chapter of her life.
She currently shares her home with her beloved fur babies, Scarlett and Mandolin, two mischievous maidens who keep her on her toes!

I am Brandy, the sly and clever fox. I am playful and mischievous. I am also nocturnal and love to hang out at night in the woods with friends by a fire. I also make lots of noises and can be silly and loud at times. I am very smart in ways that matter most. For example, finding food and protecting those I love. I am also attuned to the earth and believe that it is sacred. I use it to help guide me along my life journey.
