At Sunvet Animal Wellness Clinic, we are doing everything we can to be here for you and your furry friend during these challenging times.
In light of growing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, and the increasing need for social distancing, we have decided to close our lobby to the public until Monday, April 13, 2020.
We are scheduling appointments for existing patients via phone or Zoom during our regular office hours and offering curbside pickup or shipping for supplies & medications.
Here’s what you need to know about the changes to our schedule and procedures…
While we will continue to schedule appointments for existing patients via phone or Zoom, we are unable to see new patients during this time.
Zoom is a highly-rated video conferencing app that can be used on desktop or mobile devices. When you schedule a Zoom appointment, we will email you a link to enter the virtual meeting room. Before your appointment time, you will need to click on the link and follow the prompts to download Zoom and set up your device for the call. You will need a camera and a microphone on your device to use the app.
Dr. Laurel will continue to offer distance energetic healings and Qest4 meridian stress analysis during this time.
Staffing & Hours
Our operating hours will remain the same.
As an additional protective measure, we are staggering our staff schedule. There will be one employee in the clinic during business hours answering the phone, scheduling appointments, and processing orders. We ask for your patience and understanding for any delays you may experience.
Ordering Supplies & Medications
To place an order for supplies and/or medications, give us a call at 828-254-2221 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also place orders in our online Critter’s Choice Store.
When you place an order, we will create an invoice, accept payment over the phone, and ready your products for curbside pick-up or shipping.
For curbside pick-up, we will give you an approximate ready time and ask you to call when you arrive. We will put your order on our railing outside or deliver it to your car, whichever you prefer.
Because we cannot be responsible for disinfecting the after-hours lockbox after each use, we are encouraging clients to pick up their products during business hours. However, if this is not possible for you, or if you prefer your products to be placed in our lockbox, we can accommodate your request.
We will be doing our best to take care of clients and patients as swiftly and smoothly as possible. However, due to the unpredictable nature of the situation, some delay in processing orders is possible.
Dental Cleanings on April 2nd
Due to the Buncombe County Stay-at-Home order issued March 25th, we have decided to reschedule the April 2nd dental cleanings. The new date for the cleanings will be Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
If your furry friend is scheduled for an anesthesia-free dental cleaning in April, we will be reaching out to you to confirm your appointment time for the new date ASAP.
Protecting Those at Risk
A collective response is essential to protecting our community at this time. We must each go above and beyond to be careful and considerate towards ourselves and others. Social distancing works best when everyone follows the precautions.
We ask all who are coming to us to notify us in advance if they feel they are at risk for COVID-19 and to take preventative measures for the safety of themselves and others.
If you have flu or cold-like symptoms such as a cough or fever, newly developed shortness of breath, or if you have recently traveled to an area outside the US with known coronavirus (COVID-19) or been in contact with someone who has traveled or contracted the virus, we ask you to please stay home.
We are actively monitoring information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local officials regarding the spread of COVID-19. Any changes or updates to our COVID-19 response plan will be updated on this page.
As the world around us comes to an astonishing halt, we hope that you catch a glimpse of a silver lining in this dark cloud and that you are afforded the opportunity to slow down, be still, and cherish all the beings you hold close to your heart.
